another muzzel loader question

Would like some input on powders. Are the pellets better than loose powder? What are some of your pros and cons? What are the most popular bullets? How are there performance on elk? Thanks again

I use triple 7 powder. It is expensive but well worth it, it burns a lot cleaner than any othe powder I've tried, and shoots an awesome group.

For bullets I prefer sabots, but in colorado they are illegal. I would suggest to try a bunch of different bullets and see wich one works for you.

209 primers, and a knight 50. Cal Seems to get the job done time and time again, for deer and elk both.

Thanks guys. Would you say that the loose powder or the pellet form works better?
