I just got back from what started as a 5 day fishing trip to Orifino Id that lasted 2 1/4 days we fished 16 hours Saturday caught ZERO maybe seen 10 small fish in the river seen a young kid catch a 14lb fish (his first time stealhead fishing) sweet. but the fish are not biting!!!!, it was good to get out but what crappy fishing

That sucks they aren't biteing very good. My brother lives in the tri-cities in washington, I try to get up there every year and catch some steelhead and sturgeon. Won't be able to make it this year. Hope you have better luck next trip.

We were deer hunting down from you guys. People we talked to said the fishing was ok before it got chilly those couple days, they were hoping it would warm back up so the fish would start biteing better. I liked the cold cause the rut just hit from nill to full in two days, and we got what we were after.

I can look out my livingroom window and see the Clearwater River. Hardly ever fish for steelhead as the best time for them is also the best time to be hunting!
