He is my biggest whitetail so far so i was pretty proud of him.
Funny story on it I was gettin to the ridge I was gonna sit and watch for the afternoon. I had just sat down and was enjoyin the afternoon sun and started dozing off (completeley normal for me

). And just as soon as I really get into my nap I herd this buck grunting from the ridge behind me. At first i thought I had dream about it. Then I heard it again and realized what was going. So i got up and moved to a little better place so i could find him. I seen alot of deer on the ridge across from me but they were all looking into the thick stuff where the gruntin was comin from. I saw a nice ten come out and just just as i was gonna shoot I heard some more gruntin. So i figured if it wasnt him gruntin there must be a better buck so I held off. I looked in the direction the last grunt came from and out runs this doe and I knew something good was gonna happen. I was right in just a second out ran this guy and he then made a real bad mistake. He stoped and I dumped him in his tracks.
Its amazing how fast you can go from pure relaxation to extreme adrenaline.
