daughters 1st elk.

well after my son got his buck(see his post about 10 lines down) it was his twin sisters turn. fresh snow the night before. got on a herd of about 75. trailed them around 3 miles and 2 hours. caught them twice but she was to slow to get a shot. finally caught them on a scab flat. 156 yards. 300 win mag. happy little girl and a proud dad. gotta love fresh snow for more than just cat hunting.

300 win mag thats pretty big for such a small girl lol bet that was a hell of a show good job like to see those kids and even better a girl

You can't beat that smile very nice,had to be a blast. 75 elk in fresh snow,that had to be like tracking an elephant in snow awesome.
