Wyoming Wolf Licenses

Wyoming wolf licenses are now available for purchase on the Wyoming Game and Fish website. I will be purchasing mine today. Licenses are only needed where wolves are listed as Trophy game. Areas where they are listed as predators a license will not be needed.

over a 1000 licenses were sold in the first 3 days they went on sale I have no idea how many have been sold since then, but I am pretty sure every sportsman and rancher purchased one!

wow we can only kill 115 in wisconsin but we cant run them with dogs dam antis

that number is how many licenses were sold, not how many can be taken. There are quotas in the trophy hunt areas. For example my area here west of Cody is only 8 wolves during a hunting season. Some other areas there is a lower quota. The want to limit it to 10 breeding pairs or 110 wolves outside the park. Anything outside of these areas are considered predators and can be shot without a tag.
