Took my 14 year old on his first duck hunt today and he showed once again that he can hold his own with a shotgun. I think he killed the first three birds that came near the boat! Also got to see an 8' alligator swim by the boat. I have seen them a bunch in the lights but only one other time has one come this close when we are shooting. Last one swam right into the decoys. Needless to say I am glad I left the dog at home!
These are a couple friends that I took the day after Thanksgiving. They have shot doves but never ducks so they realized real fast that ducks are a hell of a lot faster than a dove. I enjoyed laughing at them, oop's, I mean with them as they missed a few.
