This saddle and tree was made by Robin Severe. It is an Ellensburg tree pattern with semi quarter horse bars. The saddle really fits my horses well, and he really put a nice ground seat in it. Since I got it last month, I have put a few long days in it and it is easy on man and beast.
If anyone is looking for a saddle maker, give Robin a call. He is a second generation saddle and tree maker and has been building them for decades. He and his wife both ride and train quite a few horses. Turn around was less than a year and it was a fair price.

Re: SEVERE SADDLE
Looks like it's breaking in well Dan. I'm glad it's fitting well.
Pretty easy to build for someone who knows what they want and I enjoyed it.
I'm riding the cutter that I was working on for my wife when you picked yours up. Hope your didn't squeak as much as this one is.
Thanks for the kind words, hope that saddle gets you to lots of trees with big lions in them. RS
