HORSE/MULE & HOUNDS RACK FOR PICKUP TRUCK
HORSE/MULE & HOUNDS RACK FOR PICKUP TRUCK
This rack is set up for 1 horse/mule with dog box's (2) top box will hold 4-5 dogs and the lower box will hold 2-3 dogs. The set up will fit in either a regular bed truck or a flat bed truck very easily. If you have seen the government hunter rigs, this is the same. It has been used alot but very well built and in good shape (no rust). Does need a little paint. These rigs are very much in demand and this shouldnt last long at this price. $500 FIRM Located in southern Utah 435 690-1111 Call and I can email pictures.

Re: HORSE/MULE & HOUNDS RACK FOR PICKUP TRUCK
For us curious types.
Could you post a couple of pictures of how the back gate is set up and clearer pictures of the upper and lower dogs compartments.
From this picture it looks like the upper dog compartment would be a horizontal box that would sit over the pickup bed rails. Is the lower box a shorter version that fits down within the bed, and is it the width to slide between the fender wells. If so how does the door open on that one, from the mule stall?

Re: HORSE/MULE & HOUNDS RACK FOR PICKUP TRUCK
The upper dox compartment is horizontal and does run the full width of the bed. If this rack was on a regular bed truck, the box would come to the edge of the bed rails on both sides. The lower box is directly under the upper box but only as wide as the horse compartment and you access it from the horse compartment. The horse compartment fits between the wheel wells on a regular bed. Unlike the 2 horse racks, your horse/mule never touches any part of your truck bed. The 2 horse racks leave your wheel wells exposed and they eventually get smashed all to hell. I have seen one case where the horse actually put his foot through the wheel well and cut the livin hell out of himself. I will try to put up some new pictures showing all of this today.
