Easy. Put small plastic dog boxes mounted on the side of the pack animal. You'll need to built it up for support. Two dogs per side works. You'll figure it out.

Couple them with each other and make them walk with you. Do you have a handle on them?

I've packed them before using small plastic dog boxes. We went in 22 miles with three dogs. One dog in each box and one walking with us. Just switch out the dogs every hour or so.

Easiest thing to do is to make them walk. But if your hell bent on packing them and plan on doing it more than once build a wood pannier to fit them. A friend of mine has some, if i can find a picture I will post them.

Those are pretty damn cool but it looks like you need a highway to follow. They look pretty wide.

Those boxes would work here Dirty Dan since we have no trees here, but you'd need snow shoes for the mule in this dust and sand. Maybe goggles too.
Oiler coach Bum Phillips when asked why he takes his wife on all the road trips.
Phillips: “Because she is too damn ugly to kiss good-bye.”
Not sure if it's true, just funnier than hell. A been there done that moment.
