Taking ponies to ride...$300 a month

Postby poser » Sat Oct 01, 2011 1:16 am

We have sold off a few ponies this year and my main horse is on injured reserve.....so I am taking in two horses to ride for the next few months or until the snow gets too deep. I am not into breaking your horse.....I have things to do and will ride a horse that is good or needs a little tune up. If they like to buck dont bother sending them!

They will be used moving cows and hunting lion. Price includes feed. You have to haul them to my place and pick them up. They also need to be shoed or I can get them shoed for $75.00 per horse. If you have them shoed, it would help them out to have them shoed with drilltex so they aren't sliding all over.

They will not be rode everyday but will be used pretty hard when they are. If you have any question give me a call. I am located in central utah, spring city.

Thanks, jason 801 633 4659

Jason how is that fat half draft of mine doing? Put so real hard miles on him so the kids can have at him when ur done. The boy wants to see a pic of his horse so if you get a chance post some. I glad you and poco are getting all the buck out of my other horses you guys work them way harder than I could at this time. Hope poco takes that stud elk hunting. Any one who might need a horse rode here is a nice chance for you I have taken 5 horses down to these guys and have got more than I paid for everytime. This is a good chance for your horse to get in every type of situation imagenable to really find out what they are like. We traded Jason for the Judd horse that he was riding I think he was a better horse that Jason let on. I think I came out on that one better. Give him a chance to ride you horse you will pay more to have your horse ridden in an arena and not get the experience that Jason can give them. Have any questions you can call me Eric 801-232-6070

Got a new camera this week...3rd one this summer, so i will get some pics. Forgot it in the truck today or i would have taken some.

Appreciate the comments Eric. I worked the fat paint "Felipe" today gathering and sorting cows to get preg-checked. He is coming around pretty good but is still a bit lonely. I dont think he will ever buck on you. I wrapped him in a little wire today and he stopped and let me unwrap him without any trouble. He is learning how to navigate the ditches, rocks and sagebrush on the run and turn a cow. He doesn't mind a rope or draggin anything but hes too slow and fat to catch a calf on the run and im a sucky roper...lol I think your boy will be happy with him when were done but i dont think he will look any skinnier....easy keeper for sure! He did end up with a puncture on his butt...not sure what he back into but he was a hole there now. Shouldn't be a big deal but i will let you know buddy.

Thanks again, jason
