Do you guys have any information on an aluminium atv dogbox? I sold mine a couple years ago and have busted the heck out of three plastic ones last year. The company i got mine from before moved or went out of business. The only one i can find is in nite lite.
Thanks for the info.

Further ahead getting one fab'd up yourself. Those riveted ones are shit. My buddy has a diamond deluxe (deluxe p.o.s) thats falling apart. I had a welded aluminum one made up to the dimensions I wanted, linexed the inside. Never have to get/buy/make another one...

Like you Poser, I got tired buying 1 or 2 plastic pet porters every season for my dog sled I pull behind my snowmobile. This past summer I built my own with a steel frame and an aluminum skin. Total weight is about 30 lbs which is half that of the one you can get through Nite Lite. I had around $200 in materials, beer, and bending fees plus about 16 hours in labor putting it together.
I don't know if I came out ahead building my own over buying a commercially made one, but I designed it to take a crash. I'll guarantee this one will be cheaper in the long run than spending $80 a pop replacing the busted plastic ones.

vaughn, i'd be interested in see'in some pics. Could you give us some prices too. Thanks for responding.
Kevin, haven't seen your trashy butt on here in a few years...... how are things? I would build one myself if i thought i could. The only thing i can make myself is a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich. I screw that up sometimes too.
Have a good one fellas.
