Hey John,
Rig then I probley hike in 3-5 miles get in some good catty country. Its rough in this 95 degree weather. Right now Im just getting out around 5am for a few hours to keep him in the woods. I work with him on his scent training daily and he now handles at 8 months as good as any hounds Ive been around. Hes still a tender foot when it comes to hunting but hes doing well on scents and all. Hes a big pure breed unpapered walker at 65 pounds at 8 months I think hes done growing. I keep his weigh on the light side so he can keep his agility and speed. It actually works out better he is on the bigger side since he gonna be running cat alone most of the time. So you ever do any hunting down this far? The southeast corner of the state has some hot spots...
