hello everyone. im new to this site im from northern california and i was just wondering if anyone knows why it is that we cant run gps in california?

[Dog On It]

The animal rights activists down there say it is unfair to the bears and that the GPS system helps the hunter take the bear. You and I both know that aint true the GPS just helps find the dog faster and either kill the bear or let it out of the tree sooner. But u can't tell those guys that. I go down there and hunt every year and hunt and it sure is hard to put the Garmin up and go back to the old telemetry collars. But we gotta look on the bright side there one of the few states thats still letting us run dogs on bear.
