Hello - I'm a amateur houndsman, but love all types of dogs. I recently had to put down my 12 year old black lab. It's been really rough on me and the family. I've had a half Plott and B/T when I was younger and other bird dogs. But none were like my Leonard. Anyhow, I live in Colorado and would like to get a young hound pup in a couple years and train it to chase bobcats, coons, and maybe a lion. I used to coon hunt and chase bobcats in Oklahoma for most of my younger life, but work and a young family have keep me from getting back into hounds. Looking forward to talking dogs and the hunt.
