My name is Chuck Ferrell, I live in N.California. We run mostly hogs but get a few bear treed through the year. I run 50% Plott's(11) and 50%(7) Catahoulas and a few other dogs (2) walkers, (1) redtick,(1l)eopard Cur and (4) American Bulldogs. Is your main income a dog food processing plant , I would hate to see your feed bill, It would be cool to have my dogs support my living, but for know I will have to work to support my dogs. Hope your season goes well.

To tell ya the truth, my feed bill isn't as bad as it sounds, I have so much hog meat, saved up in the freezer's, that I suplement it in with my dog food, and I'm always pullin hogs from my traps and they get turned into dog food. I tried last year feedin some of the bear meat to'em but they dont seem to care for it that much, and I hardly ever kill a bear, we just like to run and tree'em and move to the next one. Hey your in NV hows the Lion huntin this year lookin, I've been thinkin bout headin over there this year, but I really dont know where to go, I have a few private ranches over in Fallon but they aint that big, not big enough to run dogs on at least?
