Howdy Bluegirl, I love my Blueticks LOL!! Where you Run hounds at??? I grew up in Klamath (until I was 9) and Lakeview OR. Had some great times runing hounds by Horse back there. The snow got pretty deep on The Warner Mountains runing Cougars and Bobs Not many bear there in those days. We had to drive over towards Klamath (110 miles) or up by Bend by the three sisters to run Bears.

This was me and dads friend up by 16 mile north of Klamath Lake and Rocky point.

Hello everyone from central Oregon. Special thanks to you Buddy for getting this going again. We are headed back to Idaho for Sept bear hunting so will miss the State trial. Say hello to everyone for us. Bet it will be a great time with some great dogs. Will be moving to Idaho in 2+ years for good. As most of you know, the liberal goofballs have moved in and taken over, so we are moving to where the majority of people have good common sense and the fortitude to use it. Only trouble is, we will be dealing with the increasing wolf problem there. At least we will be able to hunt like wwe used to here. Hope all of you and your barkin buddies are well, happy, and lookin up...

Hi,
Just found this site this morning. glad I did we are new to hunting hounds, but have been in the business of dogs for years. We have 3 hounds, I think most of the equipment we need, just waiting for the box to get done. We would like to find some other houndsmen/women to go with so we can get some experience. We live off of Old Cornelius Pass Rd, so we are not too far from North Plains.
