Re: New Pup! And my Cameron and Walker/Bluetick Dogs
my pups feet are good sized but not huge! Eddie has done alot of hunting in the 15years he has been in it, and he's learned alot by trial and error also. One of the first dogs he ever got was the best dog by a country mile that i've ever had the pleasure to hunt with in my 30 years of hunting. That was Ravens mom, a dog called Kate. Ya Jordans been hunting for a few years. If you want to know the secret to having good dogs, (hunt them everyday possible even if you don't feel like it hunt them and then hunt them again and hunt them hard.) u will end up with awesome dogs guaranteed.

Re: New Pup! And my Cameron and Walker/Bluetick Dogs
We do hunt pretty hard. I only got out once this weekend. I try to make it twice a weekend and then hunt during the night on weekdays, once or twice, depends on the week. I work a weird schedule so its hard to get out as much as I would like. Jordans helped to make my older dog into quite the dog so far. She hasnt had but one chance on a bobcat and it was about 8+ hours old, Ellen did ok on it but she lost it eventually. That was the first thing my dog was on I think, or second. She has caught on to bears fast and hopefully lions and cats will be next. You never know how much work hound hunting is when you just run with your friends, but when you get your own dogs its a whole different ball game. I like something that keeps me busy though, wouldnt have anything to do. Saw a coon kiddy korner to my backyard last night because my female was freaking out barking at 1 o'clock last night, and I kept telling her to shut up untill I finally went back there to see what she was barking at (sometimes she just smells a coon or cat, if it wasnt in town I would praise her all the time). After I saw it was a coon I praised her, i set my live trap but nothing, going to try again tonight because the people that live there only are there ont he weekends and not weekdays so hopefully I can set it better this time, do some more training on the younger pup once I feel he is capable of not geting scared of it too much. He ate some coon hide this last week, hahahah

Do you know own any good dogs right now? Or any litter mates to Raven or Bearclaw? I know Jordan had a litter mate to Bearclaw but he ended up dying and was starting to show a lot of potential

I own a female littermate to jordans male walker pup i don't know what his name is but its the one he got from david. I own the mother to those to pups, if you check for post by a guy name bency on here, he has some pictures of a black and white walker named chip that i own, just haven't got him up here from new mexico. And i have another walker female thats kinda my lead dog. My potlickers might be able to catch a good buzz if they could figure out how to get the lock off my beer cooler, other than that i just like to have something to feed!

O dont listen to this dogger, lol the only thing he has worth feeding is the dog im feeding...well kinda feeding, hes really surviving off of all the dirt, weeds, and rocks in the kennel, this well make him stronger when hes in the woods running down game...its proven.

Re: New Pup! And my Cameron and Walker/Bluetick Dogs
Took the pup out again today. We chased 2 bears, the first bear we werent able to catch, must of been a runner, and was judging by how far the dogs ran. Took awhile to catch the dogs and on the way out we ran a little yearling or so, my buddy dog Ellen treed that little bear. Dont like to admit that his dog treed it but she's hard to beat, damn good dog! All the dogs were pretty much at the tree but she was the only one treeing at the time when we got down there. Got a little video but havent uploaded i yet. Dont know if Im going out tomorrow or not, the dogs are pretty tired, mine as his, he has a second team of 4 though, haha. The pup went with us all the way down to the tree like he always does, this time it was steep and rugged and thicker then the devils pubs down there! The pup did it no problem. He also treed (washing machined) one of my house cats the other day because the wife forgot to put one of the cats away. He's also been using his nose good on the coon hide drags, nothing special yet but he's getting better on some things.
