Hi,

Post by ken »

Hello to all,

My name is Ken I am located in north western NM.. I have just recently got my first two hounds. One is a blue tick ( 6 months old) with apparently pretty good blood lines and my second is a American Fox hound at two months old....Very new to this stuff  but would really like to get into running them esp. bear and cat.. I have tons of questions!!

Thank you
ken

Welcome, Ken

I get between AZ and NM often and hunt both states. Nice to see our sport growing. I have a 11mo old walker that I hunt on cougar and everything smaller. Come Oct 31st Ill be a year in the sport and you never stop learning. Anytime Im up in your neck of the woods would luv running some tail. You ever do any hunting west of you say Flagstaff, AZ

shout at me anytime.... Robb

Onza,

hey sorry i havent replied.. I just missed that I had replies on this thread. sorry.. I havent looked into running dogs on the reservation yet. One, i only have two young hounds at this time. Two, my wife is part Navajo and I need to check their proclamations on the use of dogs and a white man running them.. so to answer your question ill be looking into it in the near future there is some Great lion country on the navajo reservation, also bear but when I find out I would love to run with you..
