hello new to site from Vermont

Postby Jim Meacham » Mon Jan 04, 2010 3:46 pm

Just learning about all this computer stuff. Have a 11 year old boy, We have been running a blue on coon for a couple of years, But have recently purchased a plott and now we are trying to get the both of them running some bobs. I am looking for suggestions on two things. Any help on turning these hounds onto bobs. The other is I'm trying to find an old fashion B & T with a great hunting bloodline. This is the hound of choice for my son. Don't care where it is located just want a couple of honest opinions to help me find what I'm looking for. Thank you for your time

Thanks for the info. I would love nothing more than to get more of our kids in the woods behind the music of the hounds. Nothing more gratifying to me than hearing the hounds do what they were bred to do.

Hello,I too am takeing my 11 year old boy,we have treed several lions together with my buddies,we just got two redbone hounds and look foward to training the hounds together for next season,he will be 12 in Feb. so he will be able to shoot this fall,he is so pumped about it.The expression on his face when we tree a lion is priceless,I look foward to the many years to come.Teach them good, and teach them right so it is passed down to the next generation, all the best.Cheers Kurt

Just a mile or so off rt 7. Ya there are a tun of cats down here its just getting the hounds to run them is the next thing. You run cats, if so what breed do you run. And where up north do you live. I've got a real good friend in birkshire
