Getting back in the game

Postby nightstalker41 » Mon Feb 15, 2010 5:42 pm

I have been browsing this site now for a little over a year and figured I'd finally introduce myself. I used to run hounds down in Oregon prior to the ban on bear
and cougar, got out of it and joined the Army. I'm currently deployed over in Iraq
and my son is back home in Washington working with the dogs. We got a mix of dogs no one breed in particular(although I fancy them Black-headed Walker dogs and the Cameron blueticks). I was able to get out and do some coon huntin before I got deployed and a little more while I was home in December. I enjoy reading the opinions and training tips. I'm looking at getting down to Oregon when I get back and goin after them Bobbers. Eventually I'd like to get back to bear and lion hunting but the way I see Washington going to the bunny huggers I may have to choose another state to retire to.
Ya'll keep them hounds a runnin and tellin stories and I'll keep reading.

The bottom dog looks like it has some heavy Cameron breeding. Am I right? Both good looking blues!

Yes he is solid Cameron, and the dog above is a Bluetick Walker cross.

Welcome Nightstalker and thank you for your service. My younger brother is stationed at Ft.Lewis and also currently deployed in Iraq. I served in the CAV several years ago. Never was deployed but almost sent to Somalia. Not sure what my Bro's MOS is but he's a generator Mech. of some kind and we miss the hell out of him. His name is SGT.Brad Goodson. If you know him ,give him a slap on the ass from his big brother. If you don't, I wouldn't... he's a big boy! Take Care of yourself HOOAH!
