Guitar Picker,
Just went back & read your post about having Redbones from "Colonel Clouse" in MO. If he is who I think he is, his brother Bert was a legend of a dog man with another breed. I bought all Bert's old dog stuff years ago from his widow Gerry. Somewhere in my collection of old dog stuff I have a copy of an ad for dogs that Bert's brother was selling. Small world.

I dont know Bert, but we had alot of fun with the red dogs I got from Dorman, back in those days you could still get a hound that run to catch his game from the heart, these hounds I have today they catch game but there just doing it to please me. I know a guy here in Ontario that would like to talk with you, his name is Whiskey and his phone # 541-889-3814
I live here in Ontario also but for the most part I hunt in Idaho. Oregon is a little to strict on hound hunting for me and I don't want to get in trouble if ya know what I mean. Good Hunting and take care.

Thanks. I will give him a call soon. How difficult is it to get an Idaho out of state hound hunting license? How much of a lottery is it? I would love to hunt bear & mt lions. Oregon is more restrictive than I would like as well, but it is where I am at for now, so I have to deal with it.

Pics of my other three hounds. As you can see, I am not too good at the bench show thing. Was missing them today because it was a year ago that I got rid of them. Sooner or later there will be others.

Welcome Diana! Women are allowed to be as full of shit as everyone else on here. Hound people wouldn't be half as much fun if they told the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth all the time. I suspect you will find a few coyote hunters in your part of the world who would appreciate the dogs you've had. And if you're anywhere near Idaho or Nevada, you may find a few lion and bear hunters as well.

Thanks for you kind words Emily. I was born & raised in Vermont, so I am familiar with the part of the country you live in - I am a New Englander born & bred!
