Hello in Michigan

I'm fairly new to the site and to hounds. I had beagles when I was younger and have had labs my whole life. I first got the itch to get into hounds in '02 when I was invited on a few bear training weekends. Since then I have been on a few coyote hunts, a few more bear hunts, and been coon hunting. The love of watching and listening to a hound or hounds work has not left my blood since I lost my last beagle.
I bought 2-12 week old redticks in April '09 2 days after I got engaged to my wife(great test). They have been doing well on coon and I finally found a few cat tracks to put them on with a few good races.
Hope to have a few good hounds to brag about someday, but for now I'm just enjoying another reason to be in the woods and listening to the hounds.
I live w. of Ann Arbor 20 miles and have a cabin 20 miles S.E. of Gaylord, anyone in the areas that would like some company hunting sometime hit me up, always up for a hunt.
Good hunting.
Joe
