I get into central Ca. every few months as I have in-laws just out of Fresno. Where are you located? I know a couple of old hound hunters around Sacramento.

I know just where you are located. Any good opportunities for an old fat man to spot and stalk a couple of hogs in that area?

I live in turlock about 30 minutes south of lodi. The only advice I can give you is stick to walker dogs and dont be afraid to cull.

im just up the hill about 40 min.

Welcome to all the newcomers! I too like to see the youth getting involved in the sport of running Hounds!!

I'd say to you as you're starting out early, save yourself a lot of troubles and money, by getting yourselves a well bred Plott Dog!!!
Most for sure WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!!

Take it easy!
