Another Wyoming Boy checking in -

Postby Yorec » Thu Jan 17, 2008 1:25 am

Hey all - I'm in South West Wyoming - and currently between dogs. (Boomer just retired from any form of strenuous activity due to an enlarged heart and a chest full of cancer...)

Guess the lack of a hunting buddy has me back on the internet researching breeders... So I stopped in and and figured I'd say hi!

Thanks.

Happens to us all eventually... True it was way too soon for him, but that's life.

He seems to enjoy being a couch potatoe for now too. Damn him!

LiL update...

Boomer finally passed peacefully away.

So I'll likely be getting active on here again as I start the "finding my next" dog hunt! Only thing I have planned at the moment is that he'll be at least a started dog - don't wanna lose another seasonl, lol!

Later all -

Hey Yorec longtime no see. Sorry to hear about Boomer. :( Hope you can get another and get back in the game. I am dogless now myself. Let my last one go couple weeks ago. Left me with a lump in my throat, but she is with an awesome young houndsman that is hunting her and loves her. :) Hope everything else has been going well. :)

Hey Yorec, sorry about Boomer. Rest assured he's not in pain and in a better place, hunting dogs don't really like being couch potatoes.

Post up some pics of your areas, I miss Wyo., and really like it around Kemmerer. Did some surveying around Big Piney, and towards the Idaho border.
