Just a hello!
Heard of this site from a few good guys!
I've been researching continuosly the last couple weeks on hounds/hunting. Looking to get started, NOW !
Pouring a slab this weekend and building kennels and runs.
Have a line on one 2 year old walker and looking for another, preferably started and would like the convenience of paying for one thats well on his/her way. and then adding a third down the road.
All I'm interested in is cougars, we've got some monster cats here on Vancouver Island, British Columbia and I cant wait to start chasing them.
Found some good pics of kennels on here and dog boxes from you guys, good write up on collars and recievers etc.
Question, can a guy run those marshall long range collars on a maxima 5000/25 reciever no problem? I like the idea of the AA batteries and the supposed extended range of the collars. the LEDS arent a bad idea either.
Those collars on a max 5000 reciever teamed up with a yagi antenna are what I think I'm going with.
Any input ?
If anybody has a reputable contact here in British Columbia for a started walker, it'd be much appreciated.
Nice to be here and Ive enjoyed everything posted so far.
Have a good rest of your season!
