We have three hounds at the present. A 6 year old Plott, 3 year old plott/blutick(camron)/walker cross and a almonst year old redbone/black mouth cur cross. The Plott in the lead dog and hell on the tree but almost has to much fight for her own good! The 3 year old cross is not much for the tree or the fight but, is a kick ass tracker! The plott will blow the track and circle around for the 3 year old. The pup was great on coons this summer and shows promise to take the finer points from her pack mates. We are lucky enough to be great friends with a local farmer with a huge amount of land to coon in the summer. My husband travels to the Big Horns to cat hunt due to the wolves in our area. Sucks to look at the mountains and not beable to take your dogs! I am looking for a Plott pup, our girl is starting to show some age.
