New to the board andglad to be here . Im a hog hunter from Mobile,Ala . I have a plott gyp , a plottxbulldog cross , and a mountian cur . I really want a redbone or a black and tan but they have to have grit , bottom , and stamina/speed to get these hogs down here to stop . I have really narrowed my search down to a timber chopper redbone or a wagner (knightrider)black and tan . I never have hunted with either cause there arent any down here . Any info on these would be greatly appreciated

Welcome coolerman...who did you get yout plott gyp from and what bloodline is she?

I got her from my hunting partner down here in Mobile . I think she is pocahontas almost positive but dont hold me to it . She is a smokey blue/tan brindle color that is seen in several lines . but not 100% sure . She seems to have a good nose and stick but not as rough as I wished she was but the plott x bulldog cross can really stop a hog so it works out
