Hello all form Ontario Canada. Im currently running walkers for yotes, blueticks for coon and maybe getting into running some bears with more experienced bear houndsmen this fall. Cant wait to learn from you all and share in some personal experiences. Happy hunting

Well the fellow that ill be with runs plotts, but id like to try to run them with my blueticks.

Good choice. I think that alot of coon dogs make good bear dogs, and I like the way blueticks work a bear anyway, at least from what I have seen so far.

Thanks i thought i could try to make a go of it anyway. Ill let you know how i make out later in the season.

P.S. I wouldn't be afraid to try your running walkers on bear too. I have seen some work out, even figure out the tree thing. Rare but may work. Just my .02, if its even worth that.
