ANOTHER DAMNED TEXICAN!!!

Howdy y'all!
Another damned Texas cowpoke here.
As a pup we coon hunted every weekend possible at our place in the Texas hill country a few miles from Kerrville. During high school I graduated to Texas cats and Az. lions and other cats in the Aravaipa. Bear in Colorado and W. Virginia. Before my LE class graduated the head instructor came to me one day and asked if I would take a wardens position in the Aravaipa. Like a fool I said no thanks. Mule back for a living!
Growing up around "Mr. Bob" Ramsey and Ollie Barney's kinfolk gave me the best raising a kid could have, just couldn't see any future in it back then. Hindsite!
Y'all have rekindled the fire in me, although now it'll be just some calling here and there. Not quite the adrenaline rush of a good dog chase, but it'll have to do.
Ollie's kin was my best bud growing up and later on he married into the Dirk and Colt Ross family, opening up more hunting opportunities. Sad to say each and everyone of the aforementioned is now hunting in The Big Pasture. Doncha know the tales them boys are swapping around the campfire up there are probably makin Ol' St. Peter wish he had been there.
Feb. 2011 my heart took a 45 minute break. All those years them lil' ol' ladies that had made the trip and come back was full of B.S. The farther I got down that "tunnel" which to me looked like a damned pit, that light went from a bright white to a damned hot red light! Go figure!
Y'all happen to see a cowboy ridin' the high country on a Belgian mule , holler and we can brew some coffee and swap some tales of the good ol' days.
Y'all take care
Jeff Turner , ranging from South Texas to the Northern border.
Yeah, yeah. I am a true , long winded Texican!
