family heritage
Hello fellow houndsmen from north Idaho!! My name is Ryan and I recently have found this wonderful web site. Reading many of the forum posts, it is a breath of fresh air to know there is such a powerful group of people keeping our heritage alive for the next generations to come. So here I am to join the club. Thanks for having me!!!!!
Re: family heritage
Welcome Ryan. Glad you came in by the fire for a spell. Tell us about your dogs and preferred game. How is it in Northern Idaho? Has it been Californicated yet? Those wolves sure are symbolic. I am pretty sure it was not generational native idaho residents that brought them in. You probably pray for the harshest winters possible to keep California out. They are all looking to leave the septic system they have made to live in so they can do the same some where else. Watch out for the cancer moving across from Chicago. Lol. It is cold weather resistant and It already swallowed Minnesota. We thought Wisconsin was LOng gone, But they found a Patrick Henry to blast out a little opening in the engulfing darkness. It is a perilous world.
We wish you the best. You outdoorsmen stick together out there.

Re: family heritage
Thank you to David and Old dog for a warm welcome. To introduce myself further and answer a few questions. I live and hunt out of the northern panhandle of Idaho near priest river. I'm prestigious against no dog, as long as they catch the game a man is after! Personally I hunt walkers, although I have had great luck with a walker plott cross that has been line bread towards the walker side of things. My preferred game is most defiantly bobcats but my dogs will run anything that tree. I'm thankful to live in a place with many like-minded individuals and conservative republicans for a government. With that said there will always be those with much different views that are always trying to tear down the foundation of our country's heritage, and don't even know were they came from or why their familys are even here. Like David said we must stick together and keep what we have. On the wolf subject, yes they are bad and getting worse. My old female was killed two years ago in the cda mnts wile running bears and I have had many run ins since. On the other hand idahoans as a hole will not stand for if and have been doing a lot about it to save our natural resources. I'm new to the internet and how to post and things like that so bear with me. Thanks again houndsmen happy hunting and good luck
