I'm new to the site and to the sport, have been looking into running hounds for a while now and finally took the plunge. I've started with a blue tick pup, picked her up about a month ago and from what I can tell has some promise. I plan on running bear, cougar and trying my hand at Lynx . Have done lots of reading on how to get started but am all ears if anyone has advice they are willing to give :D any other BC resident members on here ?

Cheers,
Tyler

Hey Tyler, this is a way slow welcome, because I rarely check this part of the site. Hope your having a great time with your pup.I'm a beginner also ,started with a couple walker pups two years ago.Am having so much fun have to pinch myself once in a while. Give me a call sometime, be good to get together on a little hunt. Live out here in the Ried Lake area. Tom 250 552 8388

My advice is get out and hunt that dog. Exposure to hunting will train you and your dog.
Good luck and have fun.
