Hello my names Brian I live in yamhill oregon. I'm a rookie and my fiancé says I have hound fever!
Looking to meet some houndsmen in my area willing to help someone getting started in this sport, maybe give some pointers on training or even let my pup run with your finished dog this winter!
Bobcat hunting is my interest , but would coon hunt as well.
Not looking to poach your hunting area!
As I have access to some private property I know holds cats .
Just would like some experienced houndsmen input.
Thank you Brian

Hello just seen your reply!
Where is fern ridge hound club, and how often do they meet?
Glad too her this is a very exciting and interesting sport I've hunted my whole life even guided in Alaska for families guide service but caught the bug real bad from some guys in Washington!
I've only lived in Oregon just over a year.
Just wanna do my part to make this pup do her thing .
Fiance and I drove to Montana in June too get her!
How many and what kind of dogs are you working with?
Thank you for taking time to write.
God bless
