Hi there
I am new here.but registered 2013.most time Ijust read your posts.
I live in China.hunting with plott and bluetick I import from the USA.
and I have some hound that local breed in China.they are very old breed here.smart and work good in tough terrain.Gald to share with you later.
I am also a Garmin dealer in China. but not allow to sell new item outside this county.
have some used collars forsale and supply repair service.

What are the black and white Spitz dogs? They look like Russo European Laika.

white Spitz dogs are a local dog.not Laika
which dog live in a very tough area.
I drive 5 hours to buy this kind of dogs.
I wish to upload some pics but can not find how to post in this topic.

It looks like it’s an alpine musk deer (I’m used to hunting Chinese water deer and this looks eerily like one, but isn’t) and the dogs look like central Asian shepherds/CAO’s which is an odd choice to go hunting with, but I can see it suiting the style of hunting there.

Yes
a kind of musk deer.
8-16 lb ,like Chinese water deer.
not a shepherds dog.but it is very suit the style of hunting here.
I have plott and blue tick.
they hunt a different way from them.

In the one picture it shows what looks to be Dogo's. How do you use and hunt those? Keep the info and pictures coming bud. This is really interesting to see your methods and techniques at work.

some area not allowed to use gun.
so have no choice to hunt with dogo.
usually get would by wild boar. I dont like hunt in this way.
all my plott dogs import from white deer kennel in TX has been kill by wild boar.
red tick dogs are import from Penny kennel. I buy them for one of my friend.
I just have one bluetick left now. and several our local species.

Nice muntjac. I shot a lot of them when I was in the UK and they taste really good.

yes most 15-35 lb
we like the dog can bite muntjac rahter than shot them.
beacause gun is not allow to use most area most time here.

Marspass, can you tell us more about the different hunting styles of the local dogs and the hounds please? I have laikas and they are completely different than a hound.

this photos show I bought the little dog half an year ago.
they are very poor but the dog is very expensive.
you can find the seller lives in a mud house and no gas no eletric no water.
but dog is expensive.
I will send more photos about the loacl dog.
it is different from plott or bluetick.

Are those local dogs a certain breed or are they a cross between more than one breed of dogs?
