Hello all. I am new to this site and new to hounds. I do not currently own a hound, but I am looking. Hunting and bobcat trapping is my passion and would like to expand this to chasing with dogs. I've been following this site for several months. Every time I enter I learn something new and get more excited about running my own dog. Having no skills, I am looking for a well-started or finished dog that will run bobs and coons +/- lions. I am located in western South Dakota. If you know of a dog for me, let me know.
Thanks,
Jim

Welcome to the site Jim. You will have a lot of support as a new houndsmen from the guys on the site. Just don't mention the word Plott and you will be alright. That word seems to bring out the worst in people.

Hi Jim, you are the closest I can find to my area. We are just getting into the hounds and hunting....mostly courtesy of my 10 year old son. Mom caught the bug big time and now we are on here learning and looking for more. Good luck!
