Dug-in here in New Hampshire with my pack of Alanos Españoles. There are a few folks up here who run Plott's out on Black Bear but we are out after boar only. Happy Huntin'!
Interested in learning more about how you guys are hunting in Tennessee and North Carolina.
Cheers!

Hello from Oklahoma, I had never heard of that type of dog before so I googled it.Pretty rough looking dogs, kinda like a big bad pitbull. Do that track at all or do they just catch.

Guys,
Thanks for the welcome! In answer to Waylon, they track, flush and catch. If you know the Dogo Argentino style then that's the most similar. They don't bay boar in general. As in every breed some examples are better than others. In Spain, they sometimes hunt with Alanos to catch after Podencos or Campañeros track and bay them but you are likely to be on horseback then.
They have no dog aggression in mature dogs and they are pretty much indifferent to strangers in neutral territory. Yes they are bigger than Pits, I prefer my own dogs between 65lb and 80lb but some of them get up to 90+.
Cheers!
