Southern Utah Coon Hunters Association is having a U.K.C. nite hunt August 10th and 11th. Deadline 9 p.m. $15 entry fee Cedar City, UT. Contact Lance Pehrson for directions (435) 704-4179

I am new to the sport, i have a 7 month old 3/4plott 1/4 red tick hound. I want to meet people to help train, follow them on hunts, and learn the proper way to enjoy this sport. I have hunted before, i have my own truck, i just have not hunted coons or with dogs before. Does anyone want to help me out, ive been on many forums and facebook since i purchased my hound and i cant seem to have any luck. Im looking to meet new people and enjoy this sport. I live in SLC utah, im willing to travel but would like to meet someone around this area if possible.

Are you wanting to strictly coon hunt? You can tag along on a lion hunt with me if you want to drive. I live in Vernal but hunt out your way some.
