Is there any way that we could add to the law to have to use of GPS in order to safely maintain controll of our dogs. I mean if we are going to go for it we might as well go for everything we deserve. Maybe even add a training season. Just a couple of ideas. Or the use of baits.

AB1230 is not to go to committee until probably the later part of April, but I am asking that we start the grass roots now asking that the Assembly members SUPPORT AB 1230. They can call, write, fax and email ALL members every little bit

Assemblmen Donnelly will be pushing and making a case for it, it's his bill, COHA is telling us they will be there and CHC is looking into a another heavy hitter along with our grass roots push.

I E-mailed Richard Thomson
Legislative Director/Interim Capitol Director
Office of Assemblyman Tim Donnelly
and asked what the schedule for AB 1230 now that it is a 2 year bill
and he is telling me that
"It seemed to be a mistake by the committee that it was left on there."
at this time there is no schedule for it to be heard.

Donnelly's office is saying that it can be heard as early as Jan. 2014

So in the meantime what can we do to help Dale?

I finally heard back from Donnelly's office and they don't know how many of the current members will be on the committees in 2014 but that we should still be contacting them and letting them know where we stand, by being active even with it not being heard until next year shows them that we are still here, we not going to give up and dam sure aren't going away.

Why don't we know who is going to be on the committee's? Is there going to be an election? Is there certain people we should be voting to keep in and some we want to get rid of?

There are only a few of the members on the committee this year that were on it for SB 1221 I think it's 4 of them, the committee's are appointed at the start of every year so we won't know until January of 2014 how many of the current members will be around next year.
