To hot to hunt?

Postby Bluelace » Wed Jul 27, 2011 8:35 am

I have invitted all my coon hunting buddy's and there dogs to go hunt a nite or two with me and my son an r pack of hounds, any way thy have all told me the same thang, Thy said that the heat will kill a dog and the dust fills up in there lungs and will suphacate them. Well we hunt on the Arkansas River bottems along the water where the dogs can cool off and drink plenty, we dont turn the dogs loses till midnite or 1am that way its much cooler as well. Any way i tell these guys where we hunt and thy still say it dont matter if ure on the river or in the woods or a feild the dog will still got hot and lungs fill with dust. So my Question is, There any Truth to this or do i just need to find me sumbody else to hunt with. My Husband dont like me and r son going alone so thats where r buddys come in.
If u own it Hunt it. If u want it buy it. If u find it keep it. If u love it Make sure to keep it.
