Rattlesnake hayday

Postby Montana cat hunter » Tue Jul 26, 2011 11:35 pm

Last night me and a couple of buddies went coon hunting with there dogs. The picked me up around 10:30 and told me they already killed one a mile away from where i live. so we pull out away from my house and we are driving down the dirt road when we see another one laying across the road. We all jumped out and my buddy ryan grabs his dog catch poll (we use it to catch coons  ) and he goes near it. and no joke guys that thing coiled up faster than anything iv ever seen scared the crap out of me but then we took him the back and crushed his head in with the tailgate and threw his body in the back of the truck so we could train the dogs to stay back when they see them. so we get in and drive down the road and get on the highway when we see a big 4 foot rattlesnake in the middle needless to say we got out and did the whole rue teen again. the next day one of the ranches cowboys killed a 6 foot one up in the hills. makes me nervous about running dogs out here.

Where in the heck did you find all them at? Haven't seen a one and hoping to keep it that way.
