SLC UTAH< NEW HUNTER> PLEASE HELP ME!

MY name is Sean Dasenbrock, i have lived in Utah my entire life. I have recently purchased a 3/4plott 1/4 red tick hound, she is 7 months old and i really want to get into hunting her. IM particularly interested in hunting coons and want to find someone, anyone, in the slc are or near it to help me learn the skills of hound hunting. Im not new to being outdoors or hunting, i have done some grouse, duck, and coyote hunting as well as own my own truck and hunting equipment. Ive been workign my dog a bit around the yard and trying to get her going, i want to follow someon who knows the ropes and get her following older trained dogs. PLEASE HELP ME OUT, ive been trying to find people since i purchased her 5 months ago.

It can take time to find a hunting buddy my advice is sign up for the UKC magizeen and go to some hunts and make frinds there in the mean time go to a farm store get a live trap and catch a coon drag it around and get her trailing then turn it lose give it a good head start and see if she can tree it if not don't give up just keep doing it tell she figures it out you will also need a shock collar and a tracking system I would not hunt without a shock collar they save life's

I live in salt lake bud, we hunt coon all the time, but I use terriers, I'm sure I could help ya get started tho
