I have a few patts, really nice little dogs. Will hunt anything with a pulse. Just google some stuff on the net and you can come up with some pics of these little dogs hunting. Are you looking at getting some? I work mine mainly on coon but did get them on a fox last year in the ceiling of a old house they went in the wall and pulled him out by his face. I wish i had a picture of it, it was pretty neat to watch . Nice to see someone interested in terriers .

I have an Airedale from proven hunting lines. I'm going to primarily hunt her on pheasant and grouse. But we will probably be chasing around some squirrels and coons. Her training is coming along pretty well and she's extremely intelligent. As she gets older it seems like she's becoming more and more interested in game. She's currently 6 months and whenever we are in the woods the only time she looks up is to see where I'm at, always nose to the ground.

Not Jags or Patterdales, But we use Jack Russell Terriers to hunt just about anything with fur. Its great and dogs are easier for my young boys to handle. We use to hunt walker dogs & Currs but have switched to these small terriers and cant imagine hunting with anything else.

where would be the best lace to go if your looking to get a patterdale that's close to central sd
If it has fur I chase it.

This is rose, my Airedale. Her training has been coming along very well. She has her obiediance down pat. Everytime we hit the woods her nose is to the ground right away. Was with her the other day and she treed a squirrel for me. It wasn't like she was blowing the top off of the tree but she was whinning a lot and yelling out a few barks. As I encouraged her she started barking some more. She has the run of the place so Im guessing that wasn't her first run-in with a squirrel.
