They earned the title by being the only bluetick to make it through Rounds 1 & 2 last night at the UKC World Hunt in Rogersville, TN.
Looks like all that hunting in thin coon and mountains paid off! Here's hoping they can keep it going tonight.

Congratulations to Brady Harper and Buster from Olivehurst CA for being the 2009 UKC World Champion Bluetick. Congrats also to Buster's breeder Liz O'Dell, who probably had no idea she was actually producing World Ch coondogs!

Buster came in 7th place overall in the World Hunt. Pretty darn good for a bear & coon dog from Olivehurst! LOL

I'm finally back at the computer after bear hunting all weekend, congrats to Brady and Buster! Nope, I sure wouldn't have thought I'd ever have anything to do with a world champion coon dog!
