Went on sunday and cought the most coons I ever personaly cought in a days hunt. Started off bumbed out cuz we pulled up and there was people haveing a bird dog hunt test :? This always pissies us off cuz we only get so much time at the swamps and there season has long been over with.Anyways me and my buddy have been haveing a problem with my male and his two just running a muck, one of them is mines brother. We would get to the hunting spot open the box and they wouldn't even try and clean out, they would just run and run and run and jump from track to track. Are throat would sore the first 30min being there.Well on this day they acted normal and even better.

Theres a big tule patch right by the parking lot were in the back they cought quik, about 15 min cold trail to a jump and about a 20 min race to catch, after that one they almost immediately started on a second one and they ended up catching in the front of the patch close to where they were haveing the hunt test. There was about ten dudes standing out away from the test just listing to our dogs sing swamp music and on the way out they came to the truck and told us how sweet that sounded. So we hope'ed to turn a new page with them.We road our bikes down the road bit to an even bigger tule patch were we cought 4 more!!!For a total of 6 and they were all boars and all individal catches.Boy are the dogs whooped and chewed up the first patch were we cought two is nipple deep water and real thick.Dogs had to swim alot.

arkansas frog we give them away to some one that eats them we don't sell them, it seems like the older they are the browner they are :?:

Thanks Cobalt you always have good stuff to say and for that I thank you.........

I was wondering Radar, do you believe in letting any coons live to run another day?

Radar back in 1980 a levy broke and swamped his house, but he had rental house he moved into. he had a large farm where he raised Alfalfa hay and pheasants, you could come shoot Pheasants on his farm I think 5 for 100 dollars.

He build a farm pond and from Chevron[In Richmond] we hauled fertilizer around the clock to fill up that pond [it was for his feilds]he was 3 or 4 miles out of Oakly.it took 4 months ,I worked 12hrs. a night 7 days a week. 1980 you were still on the tit.

Don't worry about Radar killing all them coons, At Walnut Creek if you went camping in the hills before you could get your tent and coolers unloaded there would be 20 coons trying to get in your stuff, friend counted 23 one time.
