When can you shoot coons in Cali?

I looked over the regs. real hard, but I can't see when coon season opens.

I believe I read that it starts Nov 16th and runs till end of March.

yeah what he said! parts of so-cal deep green belt yr rnd. you going to start hunting blade?

Thanks guys for the info, I figured it didn't open until the furs got a little better.
Ya, I'll be hunting Blade, but mostly on Bears and Cats. I thought maybe I would find a coon to get them warmed up. Especially my pup before I try her on bear. I still may try to tree a coon; I just wont pack a gun.
