All of the good stuff is down on the Snake and Payette . There are scattered coons everywhere , but the good numbers are in the SW corner . Too far for you !! Check anywhere there is corn and irrigation ditches . Orchard country may hold a few .

Thats not too far. I drive down to Nampa and shoot ground squerrils, i would much rather go down there to chase a coon.

Duck hunters are destroying the coon at all the public access spots on the Snake. Corn fields are where you want to be this time of year. Also there are lots of coon off Hwy. 55 by the cougar mountain lodge.

Yeah valley co can be good . Lot of private ground though . BLM easement at Hartsel bridge and Little Payette are good spots . I hunt the Boise river on private ground and the coon population is borderline insane.

With the water out of the ditches and weather/corn being gone , it should be getting real good . Do you run blue dogs dave ?
