Re: does anyone hunt the islands?
My brother lives in Friday Harbor. He hasn't hunted in few years but use to do pretty good on coons up there. The island is covered with fox also. He knew where all the BLM land was. Be careful, a lot of the locals aren't big on hunting. I went up a few years back, in the middle of the island is a reservoir that I believe was surrounded by public land, no problem getting after a coon there. I didn't verify it was public land though. The beach had coons all over, not sure where it is legal to hunt on the water though. Good luck.
