What type of collar do you like to use when you are hunting?

We just use the reflective dayglo collars. We used to use just orange, but this year we ordered a couple different colors. Blue, Red, Green, Orange, Yellow and Black. I do not prefer dayglo collars, as the seem to wear out fast, and tear up a dogs neck if they are tied for any amount of time. But for cooning they seem to be safer, and are easy to clean. They also don't stay wet like leather and nylon, so the dog has a cold wet collar on all night even after the hunt. We use them from Dec - March during coon season only, as they don't hold up wearing them all the time very long, especially in the bear woods and brush.

But hands down, for cheap, clean and durable we use the Perma collars. During the summer and fall we never use anything else. They are great. We've got a whole bunch of collars here that have outlived the dogs they belonged to by far, and still look like new, and don't fall aprat if you change the nameplates a few hundred times, LOL.
