Albino coon in the Day time

Postby BEAR HUNTER » Sat Dec 18, 2010 3:55 am

Treed this Albino coon at 11:00 in the afternoon. Never would have believed you could coonhunt in the day time till I started hunting with my buddy. Two days ago we went out again. 6 coon in 5 different trees plus the dogs killed one on the ground. The secret is you have to have Lots of briar bushes around water. If any of you guys have some ditches or slews that are covered in berry bushes take your coon dog out there and put them in. You will be amazed at what happens. I know I was.

That is pretty neat! That's whats fun about getting out with the dogs, never know what will be in the tree. Good work.

That's a nice surprise. Maybe coon hunting isn't a night only sport. Thanks for sharing.

You don't see that every day. I hope you shot it out and took it home.If it was me I would take it to a taxidermy shop and get a life size mount done.

Yes, he's not really an albino. Albino's have NO pigment color and totally pink eyes, nose and feet. You can see this one has some pigment coloring in his hair and also dark eyes and nose. This guy is a cinnamon coon.

Yeah he wasnt a true albino. His daddy is. He has been seen several times crossing roads and is a true albinos with no color according to the people who saw him or her guess it could be his mom.
