FOUND A COON TRACK FRESH IN THE SNOW OUT BACK TODAY SO I WENT BACK AND GOT MY 8MONTH OLD PUP THAT IS DOUBLE SWAMP ROOSTER BRED I GOT FROM ONE OF MY BROTHER SCOTTS LITTERS AND TOOK HER OUT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED . SHE SHOWED INTEREST SO I CUT HER LOOSE AND SHE WENT RUNNING OFF AND AROUND LIKE PUPS DO AND I JUST WAITED BY THE COON TRACK SHE SETTLED DOWN AND REMEMBERED THERE WAS SOMETHING BACK THERE SHE LIKED CAME BACK STUCK HER NOSE IN THE TRACK AND TOOK OFF LEFT ME STANDING THERE . I WENT ABOUT PUTTING MY SNOW SHOES ON REACHED IN MY POCKET FOR MY GARMIN TO SEE WHAT WAS UP AND BANG SHE LOCATED AND STARTED TREEING ABOUT 150 YARDS AWAY. I WALKED IN TO THE TREE AND FOUND THE COON GOT SOME PICS AND VIDEO TO SHOW AND COULDN'T BE ANY HAPPIER SHE TREED HER FIRST COON WITH COMPANY AT 3.5 MONTHS OLD BUT I HAVN'T DONE MUCH WITH HER ALL WINTER SHOWED HER A HIDE ONCE AND A WHILE THAT WAS IT . SEAMS LIKE I MITE HAVE FOUND A KEEPER OUTSIDE OF MY NORMAL BLOODLINES THAT I HAVE . THANKS FOR READING AND LOOKING LARRY

Ryan the pics come out nice she is a good looking pup . i took mine out the other night the last night of training season and she was opening real good on the ground but i will say this the way things played out she was hunting with three strange dogs and seemed a little overwhelmed. so i wasn't quite sure if she was opening on the track or just barking dog but she was definitely barking on the ground and was at the tree when we got there until that night she had not said much at all on the ground i will have to wait for training season to open back up to find out any more till then best of luck to you and yours thanks for posting larry

We can run all year here. I went out last night but my cur got away from me cold trailing. He is silent on coon. He ended up treed on the wrong side of the fence so I left the pup in the truck. She seems like she is going to be able to move a track pretty good.

nice the one she treed by herself the other day she had no problems moving it forward and locating it she just never opened on the track only the locate and tree like. the one we treed the other nite she was opening on the ground i am just not sure if she was running the dog ahead of her or opening on the coon track i am sure she will come to it giving some more running i just got to wait for it to open back up thanks Larry
