Im from Oklahoma and im new to this site, I have to say I love it though, everyones post are genuine and fun, I was looking at some older post and saw that there was a few states that have a "season" for running coons with hounds....So that caught my eye, here in Oklahoma we can pursue coon year round with hounds and only take coons in the Furbearer season. So my question is whats the rules in most other states...can u or can u not run coons with hounds year round...and how many coon can yall take during furbearer season per license?

Here in Cal. we can run them yr round but can only take them from Nov till March but its open to as many as you want no limit. The bad part is most of the state is covered in Fox Tails from late spring till late fall and the heat they can both add up to be real killers for our hounds.
